Desde o dia 3 de junho sem atualizar a sua conta no Instagram, o músico apareceu no dia 10 de agosto causando, isso por que Dylan Bounce expôs, em sua rede social, que a plataforma Genius estaria continuamente suspendendo as contas de artistas do site de letras de música.

Dylan estava verificado no Genius com o Level de verificação alto, assim como é a verificação da Beyoncé, Billie EIlish, Lady Gaga e outros artistas populares, uma vez que a plataforma tem vários meios de verificação, sendo assim, o músico tinha acesso a ferramentas que apenas os artistas verificados no level dele tem.

E uma dessas ferramentas é a anotação verificada, o artista acabou usando na música “Smile” do cantor-compositor The Weeknd com o rapper Juice WRLD, faixa póstuma de Juice WRLD.

Hello guys, how long. I need to do this. BNCE Entertainment (my label, entertainment and management company) recently created my @genius account, which is why I’m about to release a new EP and this project would be there on Genius. My account, as well as all other platforms are managed by Team members, after all, I am verified on 29 social networks and I cannot handle all of them alone. Since the account was created, I only used it once, which was at the launch of “Smile” by Juice WRLD (@juicewrld999) with The Weeknd (@theweeknd), in which I am absurdly an Abel fan. On that day, I created a verified note praising both artists, the music, the collaboration and extremely grateful. After 6 minutes, the account was suspended. They did not say why, they did not return answers. I created two more accounts after the suspension of official account to try to contact, but both were suspended, and the only use of them was to try to contact with @ bemikdor (staff of lyrics associate) and anothers, that is, what is the reason for suspending them? If according to the account suspension notice, it would be possible for me or my team to contact @genius, for what reason are they not returning, but just suspending accounts trying to contact? For me, until this is resolved or has an answer, officially I will not make available any more lyrics, EP or album, or any project of mine in @genius. If there has been any mismanagement by anyone at BNCE Entertainment regarding the accounts, this should be reported. Everyone knows that it is impossible for me to manage 29 verified social networks myself. Após essa nota criada por Dylan, o editor Staff Ed Kim, conhecido como “worstofalltime” no Genius, foi o responsável por suspender a conta de Dylan Bounce e suas eventuais contas secundárias. Ed recebeu tantas mensagens dos seguidores de Dylan, que ele foi obrigado a trocar o usuário de sua conta no Instagram, que anteriormente estava como “bemikdor”.

Dylan Bounce anda sofrendo censura no Genius, após ser suspenso sem saber o motivo pelo qual perdeu acesso a sua conta, todo meio de contato entre ele e a plataforma, vem sendo sem resposta, suas duas contas secundárias segundo o artistas foram suspensa apenas por ser o próprio utilizando a conta, assim como a BNCE Entertainmente, rótulo artístico do mesmo pela Sony Music Entertainment, até o momento, o responsável pelo gerenciamento das contas de Dylan Bounce nas redes sociais e inclusive da BNCE Entertainment, era Raphael Boughor.

Dylan não chegou a mencionar algum eventual erro direto de Raphael Boughor, porém Dylan lembrou que ele não atualiza diretamente todas as suas redes sociais e afirmou que assim como algumas, o Genius é uma das que ele não atualiza, mas sim sua equipe.
