Em janeiro, o Gorillaz começou a compartilhar novas músicas como parte de uma série chamada Song Machine.
A série apresentou “Momentary Bliss” (com slowthai e Slaves), “Désolé” (com Fatoumata Diawara), “Aries” (com Peter Hook e Georgia), “How Far?” (apresentando Skepta e o falecido Tony Allen), “Friday 13th” (apresentando Octavian) e “PAC-MAN” (apresentando ScHoolboy Q).
Nesta quarta (9) o Gorillaz anunciou um álbum completo da Song Machine. A coleção, intitulada Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez, chega em 23 de outubro. Outros colaboradores incluem St. Vincent, Beck, Elton John, EarthGang e GoldLink. Confira as tracklists padrão e deluxe abaixo.
