Aconteceu na noite de ontem o Billboard Music Awards 2017, em Las Vegas. Os apresentadores do prêmio foram Vanessa Hudgens e Ludacris.
Vanessa mandou muito bem! Vários looks que arrancaram os suspiros da plateia (e do Drake) e bastante desenvoltura na apresentação. Durante o começo da premiação ela fez covers de Nicki Minaj e Celine Dion, mostrando que arrasa de qualquer forma.

A abertura da premiação ficou por conta de Nicki Minaj. A cantora fez um medley de 9 minutos. Na primeira parte, alguns dançarinos fizeram um medley de seus maiores sucessos. Depois disso, Nicki Minaj apresentou ‘No Frauds’ com Lil Wayne, ‘Light My Body Up’ com David Guetta e ‘Swalla’ com Jason Derulo.
Depois de Nicki, foi a vez de Camila Cabello fazer sua estreia solo. A ex-Fifth Harmony fez uma performance incrível de suas músicas lançadas na última semana: ‘I Have Questions’ e ‘Crying In The Club’. Ed Sheeran fez uma performance de ‘Castle On The Hill’ gravada diretamente de sua turnê, em Santiago, no Chile. Noah Cyrus e Billy Ray Cyrus subiram ao palco do Billboard Music Awards para apresentar Miley. Ela cantou seu lançamento mais recente, ‘Malibu’. Celine Dion subiu no palco para um dos pontos altos da noite: uma homenagem aos 20 anos de ‘My Heart Will Go On’. Ficamos sem palavras! Halsey cantou ‘Now Or Never’ e mostrou que tem presença de palco pra segurar uma apresentação sozinha! Durante o discurso de Drake ao receber o prêmio de Top Artist, ele elogiou Vanessa Hudgens e Nicki ficou com ciúmes. Maravilhosa!

O grupo de K-Pop, BTS fez história na noite de ontem. Eles foram o primeiro grupo de k-pop a serem indicados ao BBMAs e o primeiro a ganhar também. O grupo subiu no palco para receber o prêmio de ‘Melhor Artista nas Redes Sociais’.

Após completar 71 anos, a Deusa do Pop, Cher foi a homenageada do #IconAward. Além de um discurso inspirador, Cher também fez as performances de ‘Believe’ e ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’.

Bruno Mars também fez uma performance gravada de sua turnê, 24k Magic World Tour. ‘Versace On The Floor’ foi a faixa escolhida e deixou a entender que deve ser o próximo single do álbum.
Drake foi o maior ganhador da noite e bateu um recorde histórico. O cantor levou um total de 13 prêmios para casa, quebrando o recorde de Adele que em 2012 levou 12 BBMAs. Além disso, o rapper se apresentou com ‘Gyalchester’ no Bellagio, em Las Vegas.
